The STX Entertainment is said to be one of the upcoming major studio of Hollywood. The STX Entertainment Company was started by the son of a famous Sr, business man Robert Bruce Simonds and he has been graduated from Yale University.

PCCW is the largest internet and cable service providers in Asia, Tencent Holdings is the leading online products and services provider from China, Liberty Global is the world’s largest distribution platform, Dominic Ng is the East West Bank Chairman and the former Chairman and the CEO of WM is Beau Wringley are the other investors of STX Entertainment as already mentioned above.

Their strategic relationships with the company and others have uniquely made the company to maximize their impact across the world with a direct passage to China Market. The main goal or aim of this company is to fill the gap in the entertainment industry which has been fixed on budget busting movies having the superheroes.

The studio has been making plans to produce films in the range of $20 million to $80 million  by casting the big name actors. It had an aim to release maximum up to 15 films annually by 2017, and had lined up projects with Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, director Gary Ross and “The Purge” producer Jason Blum at the same time.

China’s Huayi Brothers are also the investors of STX Entertainments and STX has planned to spend up to $1.1 billion annually. The company has planned to achieve this by producing, marketing and self-distributing its films.

As per today, STX has been well received by the creative community. The directors and the producers who have been working with them and those who have already worked with the company are too much impressed by its professionalism and their goals. The famous director Billy Ray, who has directed the movie “Secret in Their Eyes,” a remake of the Argentine thriller, with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman and Roberts, says that he is eager to collaborate with the studio again and if given a change he will surely come out with great results..
