While waiting for our food, 3 other tables were seated AND got their food before us. When we finally got our food, I asked the waitress to have a manager come talk to us. She asked why and started to make excuses. The manager (or assistant manager, I should say) talked to us an told us he would take care of us. The waitress came back and said he took 20% off our tab, gee thanks. The table next to us got their debit card back, but realized it was another table's card. The waitress gave them the wrong debit card! They also stated they had the worst service. Do not go here if you want to be treated like a guest. Go here if you want to be treated like a burden.

Then he proceeded to allow two parties of two ahead of us because he "forgot you were there." Then we waited at a table for about 10 minutes until I went and asked for a server. We had no utensils and they forgot our beverages. Our meal took a very long time to come out and then was terrible. My $12 hamburger was about the size and quality of McDonald's. I actually felt unsafe eating it entirely. We should have just found a McDonald's. The service was absolutely atrocious -- I don't even know if a server was assigned to our table. Complete waste of money. We saw multiple parties sit down and wait about 10-15 minutes and then just leave because no one was coming to their table. We should have done the same. And thank goodness we were trying to kill time in the airport because if you were in a hurry, this restaurant would make you miss your flight.

By this measure the newly opened JC tequileria in MIA airport fails miserably. At 8pm on a Monday night the bar smelled like a frathouse basement: spilled beer and unmopped floors. The bartender walked by several times before I finally shouted for attention (in Spanish). After the wait she took the time to comply with the ridiculous "we ID everyone" rule (I'm 50 yrs old--and really, do a lot of underage kids go to the airport to drink?) then dissapeared to the end of the bar. No beer for me. I ordered, they brought the wrong thing and then argued that it was my error. I caught the manager as he was going by and was told "we're understaffed." Boo hoo. My job is hard too. When my staff get behind I roll up my sleeves and do what needs to be do be to satisfy customers. Start by wiping down the bar, it's gross.
